I want one of those! Will it convert ANY car to a Cadillac? Which one will you get? A Catera, A CTS-V, or a Cimmaron? No-one knows! Step right up and press the button!

Probably this

Come on XLR, Come on XLR. Shit. It’s an 81 Fleetwood with the V8-6-4. Damnit.

What’s a “sencer?”
![]() 08/19/2016 at 07:32 |

I’m not sure, but a lot of them have been replaced.

Mentions it’s a fuel pump problem, then shares list of every part he has replaced besides the fuel pump.
Also - BYOB (bring your own belt for the compressor)

Process of elimination? That's the only thing I can come up with.
![]() 08/19/2016 at 08:06 |

Yeah, but it’s funny that he makes it sound like he diagnosed it and hasn’t replaced it.
It sounds like one of those “car won’t run, but it’s an easy $20 fix” type of ad discriptions.

Holy shit, a Cadillac converter? Is that how the Cimarron came into being?
![]() 08/19/2016 at 08:21 |

lol that car has so many sencers and Cadillac converter! It’s got to be worth more than $1000.

The scary part is that fuel pumps are a known problem on these (former S10 owner, had fuel pump strand me). So it should have been one of the first things he checked. Lord knows what all he’s made worse trying to fix this thing.

Damn, you've finally found at GM's secret!
![]() 08/19/2016 at 08:42 |

Totally. This is a rare truck. I don't know of any other S10's out there with sencers and Cadillac converters.

My personal favorites are the folks that’ll say “engine needs rod bearings - $50 part”
Yeah it’s $50 worth of parts, but it’s the fucking rod bearings. That’s not a “do it sunday afternoon in your garage and drive to work monday” job.
Also... “discriptions”. Nicely done.

I laughed out loud at that one!

I read one last week that literally said, “Runs good no motor”

Reads reply, realizes I spelled

Looks at username, realizes I’m not surprised who pointed it out..

I one time had a customer think i was ripping him off when i told him he needed a catalytic converter. he yelled at me saying “what the fuck you mean i need a cadillac converter? this ain’t no mutha fuckin cadillac. it’s a lincoln!”

“Cadillac converter” is right up there with “starts, but shuts off” and “great truck, you won’t be disappointed”.
I know you're trying to sell it, but a 22 year old S-10 that won't run is not a "great truck". I have to admit I was looking for the "I know what I have"

Yeah, I’m kind of surprised it wasn’t in there myself.
Great seems to mean something different to a lot of people.
